When Tom(McGill) takes a job as a late night security gaurd at a storage unit.  He had no idea that he would get inolved with a mysterious blonde (McAtee) and her random affairs.  A boss(O'Bryan) who wants him to stay out of other people's business, a talk show host(Alise) who is interested in his tales of scandal, and than there is Grace but you'll have to see the movie yourself to understand that important character.

Set mostly inside a infinite white void. A doctor named Sophie is busy preping her A.I.creation for an upcoming convention.  The goal is to make her peers in the scintific commuity belive that this unit can pass for a human being.  Sophie plans to do this with the help of the Turing Test but her creation does not think highly of this approach as it has some big limitations.   When the A.I. unit asks her about the process made so far, something strange happens.  Sophie stops in the middle of he statement and repeats the begining words she origianally spoke.  Revealing that she is the A. Adapting the classic werewolf tale for a modern audience is no easy feat.  Especially since the original The Wolf Man staring Lon Chaney Jr from 1941 has been made into countless other hair raising tales.  From American Werewolf in London to Dog Soliders and Teen Wolf to just plain Wolf.  There is no shortage of stories for audiences to sink their teeth into.

Protanopia is a form of color blindness where the viewer can’t distinguish between red or green colors

After the disappearance of his sister.  Luke (Anthony Carrey) begins having these strange dreams about a house.  That house’s owner Alan(Timothy J Cox) is also having odd dreams involving his father who recently passed away.   What do these two men have in common with each other? Are they connected solely through their dreams or is there something more.

In the magical land of Oz long long before Dorothy ever dropped a house on a certain someone.  There lived two young ladies studying the art of witchcraft and magic at Shiz University. Imagine Hogwarts if different colored cupcakes landed everywhere and no one decided to clean it up.   Glinda… sorry, Galinda Upland(Ariana Grande) is the most popular girl and not just in school but everywhere it seems.  Imagine Regina from Mean Girls but with a lot more power and you get the idea.  When Elphaba Thropp(Cynthia Erivo) enters on her first day.  Almost everyone is put off by her appearance because she has….wait for it… green skin.  There are talking animals in this world but a girl with green skin is just way too strange for everyone. After an incident causes Miss Thropp to display her powers unwillingly or in a slight homage to Brian Depalma's Carrie(ask your parents about it)  Head Mistress Madame Morrible(Michele Yeoh) takes special interest in and believes she would be a good candidate to work alongside the great and powerful Oz(Jeff Goldblum). Galianda channeling her inner Cher from Clueless vibes(Ask your parents kiddos) feels bad for making fun of the new green skinned girl.  She decides to do some good and comes up with a few ideas to make her a bit more popular to the other students.

After a famous pop singer (Naomi Scott) witnesses her drug dealer commit suicide involving a really heavy weight.  Skye Riley starts to see things that she can’t explain or may not even be there at all in this sequel to the quote unquote hit movie Smile.  Titled cleverly Smile 2.  Not Smile Again,or Smile Too.  Keep on Smiling  would have worked fine, but no just Smile 2.

If you are expecting this to be a critique about this supposed last feature from director, Francis Ford Coppola.  I apologize but this is not that sort of essay. Like many film fans , I too was a little surprised that the famous director of movies like The Godfather and Apocalypse Now spent over $120 Million Dollars of his own money on this project, only to have it gross just under $5 Million.  Many asking why, especially since this sort of thing occurred back in the early 80’s when he spent big loads of money to make his musical One from the Heart.  Only to be in such debt afterwards he had to direct movies like Jack and Bram Stoker’s Dracula to recoup the lost.

When I went into this horror feature,  I was expecting it be a generic story of a man seeking revenge against those that did him wrong.  It would make the victims our protagonists and it would frame our main antagonist as another crazy deformed slasher.  What I liked best about Hayride to Hell is that it’s victims are really the bad guys that we want to see them get disposed of by the killer
