A young girl named Polly(Ana Sophia Heger) is picked up by her estranged father after he was released from Prison. Refusing to rejoin with his criminal associates, Nate(Taron Egerton) made some very powerful enemies who framed him for the death of his ex wife and her boyfriend. They will stop at nothing to get at both Nate and Polly. Featuring John Carroll Lynch and Rob Yang as a crime boss and detective who are both on the lookout for father and daughter.
She Rides Shotgun is a good and taught dramatic thriller with a very impressive acting from all the cast member. Taron Egerton and Ana Sophia Heger have really great chemistry and it will be exciting to see what this young girl does in her acting career. It’s a well paced movie for the most part but there are some scenes that over stays their welcome just a tad. It’s not a movie that screams to see in theaters but overall,it was quite good.
