This documentary is about a very brave person who fought back against Putin and his propaganda machine of making young students in Russia suppourt his war against Ukraine. Teachers and other admistration are forced to teach their students all sorts of lies about the other country to feed into Putin's own warped vison and to indocternate young children to be suppourtive of his attack on another country. Pavel a Russian teacher and videographer teams up with David, a Brittish documentary filmmaker to expose the lies young children are being taught in this very compelling film
From his footage we see a teacher tell a group of elementary school kids that if they don't suppourt the war , they are parasites and should leave their country. "You love your mother so you need to love Mother Russia" is what one teacher says. He even goes on to say how much he idolizes the men in Stalin's army that killed and tortured suppoused Russian spies. Pavel aka Pasha is taking quite a drastic risk in shooting footage opposing the war because it could land him in prison for up to twenty five years. But seeing young childen being forced to read transcripts of proaganda by brain washed faculty of schools is heartbreaking. There are even social events where kids can learn how to throw gernades and use guns effectively and most of them are not even 10.
Not only does Pasha face severe jail time. He also risks losing his students of fear that they too will be arrested for appearing to be an enemy of the state. Even by this movie being made,Pavel's life could still be in danger. When watching this you can fear that if Trump had that kind of power. He would be doing lot of the same things Putin is doing and if we don't push back more. Our entire country wlill become a full own dictaorship .
